REGIONAL/METROPOLITAN MAPS
These maps are regional in nature, showing either a region(s) of the country, a state or a metropolitan area.
Regional maps can be produced at any size, including full-page (standard 8.5" x 11"), half or quarter-page, or as inset maps.
Regional maps can also be produced at wall size (2' x 3' or larger) as well.
KANSAS CITY METROPOLITAN AREA
Map of Kansas City, Missouri-Kansas Metropolitan Area.
This map illustrates all of the major freeways and roads within the area, as well as important points of interest such as shopping malls, universities and sports arenas. Large towns and cities are depicted by using a variety of colors, displaying boundaries and city limits.
KAUAI
Island of Kauai with Hawaii inset map.
Note the use of shaded relief and selected elevation colors in order to illustrate the rugged topography of the island. Shaded relief can be used for most maps in geographic locations with varying terrain.
NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Map of northern Orange County, CA including Huntington Beach, Anaheim and Santa Ana.
The inset map in the lower left corner shows a greater regional view of the area, including all of Orange County and much of the eastern Los Angeles suburbs/Inland Empire.
NORTHWEST US/WESTERN CANADA
Map of the northwest United States and western Canada.
This map was produced for an independent film company that needed to illustrate the major protected wilderness lands between Wyoming and the Yukon Territory. This map was specially formatted to fit an HD (High Definition) television screen at 1920 x 1080 pixels.
BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON
Regional map of the Baltimore-Washington DC Metropolitan Area, displaying four property locations.
Three inset maps were used here in order to show more local detail of the areas surrounding each property, such as local roads and points of interest.
GREATER PHOENIX

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
Map of the Yosemite National Park Area.
This map includes an inset of southern and central California and Nevada, showing Yosemite's location within the region. The shaded relief and elevation scheme was used to display the wide range in elevation of this area.
